The temperature ranges from -0 in the snowy mountains NSW to very high heat in the NT.There are six climate zones on the continent which is two main seasonal patterns (Summer/Winter) Here are the four seasons during each year:
Wet and Dry season:
In Australia the wet season: also known as the monsoon season: last 6 months from November to March. The wet season up in the Tropical parts of the continent the North region is a lot hotter than the dry seasons with temperatures varying between 30-50 degrees Celsius. This is caused by the humidity from air and water mixing together.
In the dry season it also last about 6 months between the months April to October. The average temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius ranging to either below or a little more.
